One punter, an office assistant who wanted to be known as KH, expects the outlet to draw more customers, now that news of the record-breaking Toto win is spreading. Punters say the outlet, nestled in a quiet row of shops just walking distance from Farrer Park MRT station, is frequented by residents and those who work in the area. Group 2 winning tickets have five of the winning numbers and the additional number. The outlet also sold one of the 25 winning tickets for the Group 2 prize, each worth $62,991. It is not known if the ticket belonged to an individual or was shared among several people. The winning ticket was sold at Rangoon Provision Shop, a Singapore Pools outlet at Block 681 Race Course Road. When there are no winners, the prize money snowballs to the next draw. To win the Group 1 prize, a ticket must have all six winning numbers. The large prize of $13,077,918 was accumulated over the last three draws, on Sept 21, Sept 25 and last Thursday, when there were no Group 1 prize winners. The winning numbers were 2, 10, 12, 13, 45 and 48. It is the largest amount won on a ticket for a Toto draw in Singapore, a spokesman for Singapore Pools confirmed. SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): The S$13 million Group 1 prize in Monday’s (Oct 2) Toto jackpot draw was won by a single ticket.
